Adrian and Ian affection checks
Checked 2026-10-06. Version on the official page that day: 1.0.1.
Choices the screenshot proves
Adrian’s morning replies include “It was alright.”, “..I dreamed about you.” and “I feel terrible.” The game tracks Adrian and Ian separately. Cold replies to Adrian and warm replies to Ian can therefore coexist on the escape route. See endings for the route choices as well as the scores.
Confirmed version 1.0.1 thresholds
The shipped route commands use these conditions:
- Ian above 14: the Dream2 branch goes to the optional IanRoute1 scene.
- Ian at 40 or more: after the rescue call, Outside2 branches toward ending 4 instead of ending 3.
- Adrian at -3 or lower: Searching allows the body search that gives the key.
- Direction, not points: warmer and closer lines are said to add, insults and refusals to subtract. No per-line value is published.
How to play without the numbers
For the key, choose cold replies to Adrian and search him after the struggle. For ending 4, be warm to Ian while completing the rescue call. The scores do not replace reading the package or dialing correctly. These checks are version-specific; consult the update log after a new release.
What I checked
I checked the official macOS 1.0.1 resources: Searching tests adrianRelation>-3 to block the key, Dream2 tests ianRelation>14 for IanRoute1, and Outside2 tests ianRelation>=40 for IanRoute2. These are three specific branch checks, not a complete per-choice point table.
